Are you “present” to life? Do you stop to smell the flowers, or are you always rushing to get past?
Do you breathe in the steam of your morning coffee? Do you let the taste linger long on your lips? Do you swallow it slowly, savouring its warmth, its bitter cream taste?
Do you kiss your loved ones, one by one, on the cheek or mouth? A cheery Bye! in the morning as they make their way out into the world, your heart beating with their heart leaving.
When you leave the house for work, do you look up at the sky and thank Mother Earth for another glorious day of sun or frost or wind or rain? In bed at night:
Do you just lie and breathe, and feel the warmth and energy of your own body and chakras?
Do you ponder your own life and death, and fall asleep with the gentle knowing that you’ve lived your best today? Done your best today? That you could die today?
That you were magnificent today?
Do you?
with love,
