Life is a series of ebbs and flows. Of times when we’re bursting with energy, productivity, and creativity (when we want to be shouting from the rooftops). And times when we need to be internal, to shut the world out and protect our energy.
You can’t live the high without the low. From an energetic viewpoint this is also true.
If you’re always external—giving, doing, creating—your cup will eventually run dry … You need the internal times to keep your creative chalice full.
But most modern mystics struggle to feel ok about this.
They know it’s always most dark before the dawn, yet they resist and struggle against the “low time.” They reject the inner call for stillness and the need to purge and cleanse the outdated patterns and ways-of-being.
But it’s in the dark that the light can burst forth.
If you’re in a low time, don’t feel bad about wanting to shut the world out. And don’t worry about how to do this without any negative impacts upon your family and work.
If you surrender and accept your need to shut the world out, the universe will support you. It will lovingly hold you in its tender embrace and all will be taken care of …
Then, when divine time orchestrates it, you’ll come back into the world. Clearer, strong, and more purpose-driven than ever before.
with love,
Belinda
