It doesn’t matter how much you “get done” or achieve. If it isn’t coming from high vibration and a mindful state, you aren’t attributing anything of true substance to the world.
In the wise words of the spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle: It’s not how much you do. Rather how you do it.
This means to bring about true and far reaching positive impact, you need to make your intentions and actions mindful.
You need to slow down, breathe deep, and send out love and compassion.
Over this holiday period, try not to rush around, stress over getting everything wrapped up for the end of year, or worry about Christmas and all the tasks that comes with it—presents, food, family, decorations, preparations, and so on.
I know this can be super hard to do while everyone else around you is going mad with the holidays, but I urge you to choose not to follow the crowd.
Stand out from the crowd.
Choose to slow down. Choose to breathe deep. Choose not to fret. Choose not to worry. Choose not to rush.
In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter if you find the perfect present for your spouse or not. It doesn’t matter if your children eat too much sugar on Christmas day, or if you fight with your siblings (who you mostly don’t get along with). Or if the house isn’t as clean and tidy as you want it, or you can’t manage to get through your (never ending) to do list. Or, you can’t seem to wrap it all up—get it done and dusted for 2018.
It doesn’t matter.
What does matter, though, is the quality of energy you bring to each and every moment.
Are you sending out love, peace, and joy?
This is what matters.
with love,
Belinda
