Day 3: Chakra Language: Wealth

Although it is said, “Money can’t buy happiness,” having money certainly makes life easier. Just ask anyone who hasn’t had much of it. They’ll tell you how limiting and hard it is.

However money is only one aspect of wealth. To live wealthy and abundant lives we also need support, resources, great friendships, family, creativity and love.

Katja

The first thing I noticed about Katja’s voice on the phone was its lack-luster tone.

When I began to scan her energy field, it too was lacking luster. Most of the colours of her chakras were washed out and pale and I received the image of her being like a wilting plant that wasn’t getting enough water and sunshine.

Unfortunately many of her chakras were weak and blocked, but her first chakra was particularly so.

As I looked deeper into her first chakra, I saw that she was struggling to make ends meet, living on welfare, estranged from her only daughter and lonely.

“Yes,” she said without a trace of emotion or self-pity as I relayed the impressions of her energy field to her, “everything you have said is true. I am poor and alone.”

I could also see in her first chakra that most of the time she felt ‘out of it.’ When I mentioned to her that her energy was very ungrounded she told me that all of her life she had felt dizzy and not quite here.

Most of the time she found herself drifting away elsewhere. She also told me that she was always tired and had lived with depression since she could remember.

I could also see a traumatic event in Katja's first chakra: I saw that Katja in a past life had been imprisoned and hung because she had been accused of stealing money from a rich family.

Although she had not committed the crime she was accused of, and had even, while she was being tortured, continued to claim her innocence, her life had been taken from her anyway. The trauma and betrayal in this past life had caused Katja to fear ‘being here’ on earth again.

When I asked her if she thought earth was a dark and cruel place, she shuddered and whispered, "Yes, I don’t like it here at all."

It took a few spiritual coaching and White Light sessions to clear this trauma from her first chakra but as her chakras began to strengthen, so did her ability to attract more money and abundance into her life.

Her ex-husband suddenly decided to buy her an apartment, clients, that she hadn't spoken to for a long time, suddenly began contacting her again and her daughter had, ‘out of the blue,’ phoned her and wanted to re-build their relationship.

(Side note: Past life memories run deep within us, especially those in which we have experienced trauma. Even if we can’t consciously remember them, they are still present in our chakras and they hinder the flow of energy throughout our energy field. That is why cleansing and looking after our chakras is so important).
Peter

Peter’s problem wasn’t that he didn’t have enough money - he had tons of it. He just couldn’t stop amassing it.

Most of the time I am objective in my work as a medical intuitive. This means: I try not to be judgmental or bring my own opinions and beliefs to my sessions.

My job is to objectively see inside people, tell them what I see and then advise them on how to correct it.

This doesn’t mean that I don’t care for people and don’t empathise with them. I do. I’ve just learnt that the more objective I can be, the more I can help people because my emotions can cloud what I see and if that happens I’m not doing my job properly.

So I was surprised that I took an instant dislike to Peter. As soon as I heard his voice on the telephone, I thought, “Thank goodness, this is a telephone reading. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near this guy!” My instant instinctual feeling was to get as far away from him as possible!

As I began to scan his energy field, I had the image of Peter as huge black spider. I saw that he created around people giant webs in which he trapped them and devoured them. His ‘webs’ were his ability to flatter and manipulate people; he was a master manipulator, who could get people to do whatever he wanted.

He used and ‘went through’ people to fulfill his own needs.

I fully expected Peter to try to flatter me or manipulate me into telling him only wonderful things about himself, so I was taken aback when he agreed with my diagnosis of his energy field.

I told Peter that his imbalanced first and second chakras were causing him to feel like there was 'never enough.' This fear drove him to to acquire wealth, at any cost. I also told him that he was just as driven to acquire pleasure, and that these drives and fears were ruining his life.

He immediately admitted that this was all true and confessed how glad he was that someone could see this about him. He told me he'd left behind him a trail of angry and bitter men and women and he confessed that he'd used these people for sex and to acquire power and wealth.

He also admitted that had just ended another affair, and was in another court battle. He also had prostate and bladder problems (chakra two), back problems (chakra one) and had no friends and spent all day every day working.

Under the master manipulator mask was a frightened boy. Peter had a lot of money in the bank and was rich, but he wasn't wealthy because he had no support or friends or family.

I told Peter that he had a lot of work to do on himself, but he did it.

The next time I spoke with him he told me he was balancing himself out by balancing his chakras. I knew he was telling me the truth because his energy felt so much better and because I also no longer had the instinct to get away from him.

Anna

Although it's primarily the job of the first and second chakras to bring us all that we need to survive and to live comfortably, sometimes a blockage in another chakra can cause us financial struggles.

This was the case with Anna.

Anna was referred to me by her psychologist because her psychologist feared she, “Wasn’t making much progress with Anna.” She needed help and wanted my objective opinion.

My first impression of Anna was a heartbreaking one. I saw her in a grey room, wearing a drab, faded dress, sitting alone at a window sill. She looked sad and desperately lonely.

Suddenly I saw Anna lift her head and look out the window. Outside was a beautiful garden, filled with colourful flowers, birds, animals and children laughing and playing. Anna jumped up and ran to the window and began to call out to the people in the garden, telling them that she was also there.

“Here I am,” she called out. “Yo hoo, I'm in here and would love to be out there with you!” But they kept on laughing and playing, taking no notice of her.

Soon her calls became desperate pleas, as she began to scream and shout and thump her fists on the glass. Although she was screaming at the top of her lungs nobody could hear her from behind her glass walls.

I knew then that Anna suffered from a broken heart chakra and that she had given up on life. She was deeply sad and despondent as her life dreams hadn't come true. Her heart had closed down in order to protect her from any more hurts. Unfortunately though, closing down the heart blocks the flow of love into our lives.

Anna was not only suffering depression, she was also extremely isolated and poor.

Her broken heart had stopped the flow of everything good into her life. She could only afford to pay for the bare necessities and she lived extremely isolated. She had lived isolated for so long that she no longer able to interact with and be around other people. Contact with people wasn't only foreign to her - it also exhausted her.

Together with her psychologist, we helped her begin to open up her heart.

Last time I spoke with Anna she proudly told me that she had joined a choir and was working at a local charity. She was also planning to study psychology and had moved back to the country of her birth.

I was confident that Anna was on the right track because she was opening up her heart chakra... ... and what would follow would be money, abundance and a much more joyful life.

Get the love in your heart flowing, and everything that you love will flow to you.

John

John was the owner of a successful franchise chain. Intelligent, charming and funny, he was highly respected by his fellow franchise partners and could easily find people to join his business.

All of his life he'd had no problem being good at his job; his resume was impressive and he had spent a large part of his life in the public eye.

John also worked as a life coach and gave inspirational and hugely successful seminars, so he was confused as to why there never seemed to be enough money. “I don’t want people to know that I am struggling financially,” he told me, “they would then think that I’m a fake and no good at my job.”

When I scanned John’s energy field, I saw a blockage in his second chakra. When I looked deeper into this blockage, I saw that it consisted of two blockages.

The first blockage was John’s ambivalent attitude towards money which he had inherited from his father.

John's father believed that "rich people are bad and the poor are good." So John had subconscious guilt and felt bad about desiring money.

“Yes,” John sighed, when I relayed my impressions to him, “my dad always told me that an honest man works hard for his money and has just enough to get by on. I know rationally that it's ok to desire money and enjoy it, but obviously, subconsciously, I must still feel bad about it."

After a few moments of contemplation, John said, “Belinda, what you’re telling me, I already know. I think it's amazing that you can pick this up without knowing anything about me but this is not new to me," he said. “I've known for years that this has been holding me back, and I've been so working hard on overcoming it but why isn't it working? What am I doing wrong?"

“The answer to your question is twofold," I explained.

“Firstly, your ambivalent feelings about money isn’t the only reason why you're struggling financially. And secondly, although you've been trying to change your thoughts, it hasn’t yet changed your energy. I will teach you how to clear out these blockages and change your energy.”

“So what is my real problem then?” asked John.
“Unrequited love,” I answered.

In a past life John had deeply desired a woman that didn’t desire him. Although he'd tried for many years to win her affections, she chose another man. She married the other man and moved away with him.

John, however, was convinced that the object of his desire was his betrothed. He whole heartedly believed that they were destined to be together, so he began to pray vigilantly every night for God to give her to him.

Engulfed by his desires for her, John began to dream a recurring dream; a dream in which his beloved showed up at his house one day, asking for forgiveness for her misguided actions by marrying another and asking him to accept her as his bride.

Convinced his visions predicted the future and that God had promised to bring her to him, John praised and thanked God, and anxiously awaited her return.

It happened soon enough.

He opened the door of his house one day to find her on his doorstep, pale-faced and crying. Her husband and child had just been badly injured in an accident with their cart and wagon outside his house, and she was begging him to come with her and help them.

Convinced that his beloved was only making up this tale so that she could take him away from the prying eyes and wagging tongues of his neighbours, down into the village where she could profess her love and dedication to him privately, John eagerly followed her out of the village gate and onto the road.

Choking back tears of elation and a heart ablaze, John thanked God that his dream had come true. She is here! God had answered his prayers!

When he stepped out of the village gate and saw that indeed a wagon lay overturned on the street and a small boy lay on the ground unconscious, John was confused.

When he looked over to his beloved and saw her run around the overturned wagon to her injured son, and when he saw her husband too, lying unconscious on the ground, and his wife weeping over him and begging John to do something, he realised that his beloved was telling the truth. And that his beloved, his believed beloved, was not at all his beloved.

John fell to his knees wailing, betrayed by love and hope and God. He then suffered a severe stroke.

John spent the rest of his life in this past life alone and isolated. So hurt was he that he rarely left the house. Even on his deathbed he thought of his beloved and how God had not followed through on his promise, how God had tricked and betrayed him.

“I can’t believe what you're telling me,” John whispered, holding back tears, “this is exactly what is happening in my life right now!”

“My girlfriend has left me for another man and although she has told me it's over and that she wants to be with him and not me, I can’t give up on her because I love her and believe we're destined to be together. I dream every night that she comes back to me, professing her love and apologising for her mistake."

"But that's not all," John said, "this has also happened to me in all of my relationships. My girlfriends have all ended the relationship with me, and each time I hoped and believed they would come back... I even told each one of them that! I told them that I knew they would come back because I knew and believed we were destined to be together."

"But they never came back, no matter how much I believed they would. And it hurt so bad - I felt betrayed by my own hope and faith. But now I realise I've been living out a wound from a past life!"

“So,” he said, after a long pause. “I completely understand how this past life wound has affected my relationships, but what does this have to do with my money problems?”

“The job of your second chakra is to make sure that you can attract into your life that which you desire," I said, "and money is a part of that."

"Because you deeply desired this woman and thought that God would give her to you, and God didn’t, you learnt that your deepest desires will not be fulfilled. Your father’s negative beliefs about money only furthered to cement this belief in your energy field.”

“My goodness,” John exclaimed, “it makes perfect sense! Who would have thought that unrequited love in a past life could stop the flow of money into my life in this life! If you hadn't told me this, I never would have made that connection."

I showed John how to clear out the pain of this past life as well as work on his chakras. I told him to also pay particular attention to his second chakra.

When I last spoke to him he was happy, experiencing much more abundance, and single. He'd decided to stop pining for love and he would no longer allow himself to think about the past or miss his ex-girlfriends.

No! He was starting anew and he loved being single.
