Modern Mystics & Lightworkers You Need to Know About

Modern Mystics & Lightworkers You Need to Know About

There are women in my life whose products and creations I use everyday. All of these women are incredible modern-day mystics and lightworkers, and, everyday, infuse my life with light and joy through their exceptional creations.

Not all mystics and lightworkers work in the healing arts. We aren’t all called to work as intuitives, coaches, therapists or healers. Some of us – (like the women I’m about to mention) – work as candle-makers, aromatherapists, artists, beauticians and natural skin-care creators.

Here are the modern mystics and lightworkers who you need to know about:

Jasmin Kechel – Lemon Canary

I’m crazy about Jasmin’s creations. I use her chakra oils, chakra sprays and candles everyday. Yes, literally. I use one of her chakra perfumes every morning on my neck and wrists, and all day I’m spraying her chakra mists and burning her candles.

When I order from her, I buy in bulk. Think – huge big boxes brimming over with candles, oils, chocolates and goodies… Her creations are all hand-made with such care and attention to detail… Truly exquisite.

Erica Brooke –  Erica Brooke Skincare

Erica is a skincare superstar. Mark my words: Soon she will have Australia’s most well known natural skin care label. (And yes – that is a psychic prediction!)

For almost twenty years I’ve been using (and trying out) organic natural skincare products and so far, none have come even close to what Erica can do. Some of what I’ve tried out has been great – but Erica’s skincare line is exceptional. Truly. One of a kind.

Lauren Dawson – Raw Beauty

Lauren is the most gifted beautician and healer I know. Actually, I’m not the only one who knows it. Many people know it, because it takes months to get in to see her.

Now that I live in Germany, I miss Lauren dreadfully. I miss her amazing facials and healing touch and beautiful presence. She was the person I poured out my heart and woes to… I miss her…and her white light healing sessions.

Lauren has also recently launched some amazing skincare products which I use everyday alongside Erica’s. (Erica and Lauren have recently teamed up; those girls are a powerful duo).

Jo Klima – The Darling Tree

Jo is my favourite artist. Her work is beyond incredible. I look at her art everyday in my office, and I can’t imagine working without it. It uplifts and inspires me. Jo was also the design genius behind my website.

I can’t imagine my life without Jo. Not for a second.

Make sure to check out each one of these amazing modern mystics and lightworkers!

What!? Are we really at the end of 2017? My goodness, where did this year go?  I honestly don't know. Suddenly it was January 1st, 2017, and just as suddenly it's almost January 1st, 2018. This year felt like a shinkansen (bullet train). In a blink of an eye, it's passed. If you're anything like me, you also found this year challenging. It was difficult, stretching, and confronting. It was shadowy. For me it was a year of deep revelations and even deeper lessons. I learned a ton. I cried a ton. And truth be told, I struggled a ton, too.

You're waking each morning in a state of angst. Your heart is racing, the bed sheets are tossed and rumpled, and you feel sweaty and slack. Something is wrong; very wrong. Before you swing your legs out of bed and begin your day, you stay lying down and take a moment to analyse your life.  "What is going on with me?" you ask yourself, "I've been feeling this way for weeks!?" Your start to scan your life, thinking of everything that could be making you feel this way.

For some reason I'm rummaging around in Mum's old white bookshelf. I'm unsure why I got the sudden urge to pull books out, quickly scan their covers, and shove them back into the shelf. But then it catches my eye— a small, old, tattered blue-coloured book with a lily flower on the front. It's my Grandmother Jean's book; the book she wrote while she was dying of cancer in 1978, when she was only fifty-five years of age with two of her seven children still in their teens and living at home.
